Merry Christmas 2016

We had a great Christmas season this December. Even though Jordan was super busy and we had to be creative and really plan the time he had with us, we had fun exploring Iowa City, singing Christmas songs, participating in #Lighttheworld, and baking/decorating Christmas treats.

Decorating the house in the Christmas decorations always sounds more fun then it actually is. It takes awhile and is a tad hectic with babies around. Madison loved the tree as well as the little train set. The tree looks really good in these pictures. By the end of the week it did not look that put together. Gotta love my two year old.

She absolutely adores her daddy

My peeps

We threw a little shin-dig and decorated giant gingerbread men! It was messy and definitely a full house. Someday I'll have bigger house.... hopefully.

Santa came early to our house this year so we could travel the next day. Christmas was so calm and AMAZING. We slowly opened our presents, didn't stress about a messy house, and got to try out our new electric wheat grinder. (wahoo for wheat bread!!)

Christmas this year was in Oklahoma! It was absurdly warm and lots of fun to see Meemaw and Papi, and Mimi and Papa, and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jordyn and her Great Grandpa (Papa)

Typically we drive a lot when in Oklahoma. It was a tad hard on our girls. At least she held my hand.

Jordan's best friends and closest people he has to brothers. (and their families)

Merry Christmas!
