On to New Adventures

I miss my kids! I guess I should call them students. I miss my 6th Grade students!I had the wonderful opportunity to student teach in a 6th Grade classroom in Payson, Utah during the last months of my pregnancy. My last day was November 22 and Madison was born on the 26th! However, even though I was constantly on my feet and seemed to take endless trips to the bathroom, I loved being in that classroom with those kids. I was lucky enough to have a teacher that I knew previously and trusted me completely with her class. During my experience I got to teach difficult math lessons, apologize to the students for being grouchy (happened a lot the last couple of weeks), have an intense 'boot camp' to learn parts of speech, and of course a baby shower.

I got my diploma!!!

Even though I miss those 6th Graders,I am on to a new adventure. Yay for motherhood! I have a beautiful baby girl, and she is definitely an adventure. Miss Madison is 2 months and full of smiles and 'other expressions' as well! We bless her on Sunday! Be excited for pictures of her and her beautiful dress and afghan.
